The mission of reSource is to create a sustainable future for Central Oregon by educating people about what sustainability means and how to put it into practice.
Our long-term goal is for sustainability techniques—such as waste and pollution prevention, reuse, energy and water conservation, composting, recycling, renewable energy and others—to be widely practiced by individuals and organizations in Central Oregon.
Current Projects:
- WorkSmart helps businesses conserve resources, prevent waste and pollution and save money at the same time.
- From the Ground Up promotes sustainable lawn care and gardening through educational events and publications.
- EarthSmart educates Central Oregon youth about resource conservation and sustainability.
