Drop the kiddos off at Working Wonders and enjoy a night out during the Earth Month kick-off party and TRASHformations on display at Lahaina Galleries.April 11th: Open Workshop! The Procession of the Species Parade
is a wonderful community event for people of all ages!
Drummers, dancers, families, children, parents, grandparents,
students and everyone in between can participate. Dress
as your favorite species and join the only
parade giving the natural world a
greater presence in our streets!
When: Saturday, April 18th, 2009 (parade staging starts at 10am)
Where: On Louisiana Avenue next to McMenamins in downtown Bend
Rules: No written words, no live animals, no motorized vehicles
Who: Everyone! We want drummers, musicians on homemade instruments, dancers, families, friends, students--everyone is welcome! Make your own costume or get together with a group and make a costume together (long snakes, flocks of birds, schools of fish, fields of wildflowers, colors of the rainbow) and join the parade.
