The annual Central Oregon Earth Day Celebration plays a vital role in strengthening the bond in our community. The Earth Day Fair and the Procession of the Species Parade engage all people in a celebration of that which we hold dear, our natural environment.
The Central Oregon Earth Day Celebration is one of Central Oregon's longest running events. Our longevity is a reflection of the community's passion for this event.
The Earth Day Fair hosts more than 100 vendor booths filled with educational information, green products, and services that lend themselves to a healthy, sustainable environment. A plethora of interactive children's activities, live music, and the green building expo draw thousands of people every year.
The Procession of the Species Parade brings out Central Oregon's creative side. Both children and adults are welcome to free pre-procession workshops where local artists help with the creation of parade costumes and musical instruments. The Procession is a hallmark of Bend culture--shouldn't you be a part of it?
