EarthSmart Presentations
EarthSmart educators provide interactive, hands-on activities and lessons that focus on waste reduction, resource conservation and sustainability. All lessons are FREE and correlate to Oregon Education Benchmarks. Some presentations are accompanied by optional short take-home assignments, and additional follow-up resources are available. Please contact us to schedule as many presentations as you like.
5th Grade EarthSmart Kids Classes
Interested in participating in a year round program for your 5th grade class? The EarthSmart Kids program might be what you are looking for! Over the course of a school year, we will visit your class with a different presentation every month through the EarthSmart Kids program. Space is limited and we try to rotate to different teachers and schools so contact us soon if you are interested. The first class starts in October and runs through May. Scheduling Presentations
Most classroom presentations last between 45 and 60 minutes, and all of them can be adapted to a variety of audiences and schedules. Please feel free to schedule as many lessons as you wish. Please note that these presentations are very popular! To ensure that we can reserve a space on our calendar, try to schedule as early ahead as possible, especially during the busy spring months of March, April and May.
