Building Community
Each year the Central Oregon Environmental Center awards a
minimum of $2500 to local nonprofits and schools for river
and stream ecology, education and restoration projects in the
tri-county area including Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson
counties. Click here to learn about this year's

The Environmental Center recently received a 3-year grant from Meyer Memorial
Trust to fund the development of new community outreach
programs including more college internship opportunities,
classroom service learning projects and a regional volunteer
network.

Intern for the environment through our Internship Placement Program. We work with our 40 Member Group organizations to develop internship opportunities that provide valuable hands-on experience that really makes a difference for our environment.
