Trout Unlimited, Deschutes Chapter, General Membership Meeting
The local Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be holding a General Membership Meeting at 6:00pm at Aspen Hall at Shevlin Park. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: 4:00pm Kids Fishing, Creek Walks, Presentation from Darek Staab, the new TU Home Rivers Project Manager. RAFFLE ITEMS AVAILABLE SO GET THERE EARLY AND GET YOUR TICKETS! GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Fun for the Kids! Come meet more Deschtues TU Members!
We just wanted to let you know that our local Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be holding a General Membership Meeting July 21st at 6:00pm at Aspen Hall at Shevlin Park 18920 NW Shevlin Park Road in Bend. Aspen Hall is approximately 3 miles west of Bend, located in the north end of Shevlin Park. Travel west on Newport past College Way where Newport becomes Shevlin Park Road. Continue west until you pass over Tumalo Creek. Turn right into Shevlin Park and Aspen Hall is located next to this parking area.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
4:00pm Kids Fishing - The Shevlin Park pond will be open for youngsters to fish from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Bring a rod and have some fun with the kids. Creek Walks - Take a guided natural history walk with families and friends along Tumalo Creek to observe recent restoration efforts in the park. Presentation from Darek Staab - Darek Staab, the new TU Home Rivers Project Manager for the Deschutes Basin will be presenting on his experiences and lessons learned from his recent work on the Elwha River dam removal and restoration effort in Washington State.
THERE WILL BE A NUMBER OF RAFFLE ITEMS AVAILABLE SO GET THERE EARLY AND GET YOUR TICKETS!
Refreshments will be available starting at 6:00pm and the presentation starts at 6:30, so come by and get to know your fellow Trout Unlimited members.
