2008 FootZone Dirty Half

Once again the field will be limited to 800 runners. Last year the race filled in 5 weeks.

Registration begins March 1st 2008 at the Footzone only

Online Registration will begin April 1st

The Dirty Half Course

The course is a 13.1 mile loop in the Phil's Trail area west of Bend. The trail is very runnable with a handful of small technical sections. The entire course has a net gain/loss of approximately 1000 feet in elevation. Here are the stats:

Climbing elevation: : 1012 feet
Descending elevation:  1020 feet
Uphill grade:  4.7%
Downhill grade:  5.8%

Aid Stations

There will be 3 aid stations with water and energy drink.

Awards

We will have post-race goodies and the usual schwagg give-away. Tasty yum-yums provided by Nancy P's Bakery at the finish.

Check-in & Packet Pick-up

Saturday, June 7th at FootZone in Downtown Bend, 845 Wall St., 12PM – 6PM.; and race day at the start, 7AM.

Race Start & Finish Location

Just south of Phil's Trailhead, west of Bend. Directions to Start: Take Galveston west past the roundabout at 14th. Keep heading west, the road turns into Sklyliner. Take Skyliner west to Mt. Washington Drive. At the Skyliner/Mt. Washington Roundabout, proceed west on Skyliner 1.5 miles and go left on the paved road, follow the signs to the race start.

First wave starts 8:00 am sharp!

Entry forms will be available March 1, 2008. For the month of March in store registration only. Beginning April 1st registration will be available online at www.signmeup.com or a printable entry. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!
