Sacred Native Teachings......every other week ....Sisters
area
FOUR WINDS FOUNDATION is again this 10th year offering classes
³from the indigenous prospective on social ways,
understanding the values of working with Mother Earth and all
those we share this life with, a world out of balance, giving
hope that individuals can co-create themselves and work
naturally with the environment around us. The key word
here is 'Synergy'--learning to share and give back, not taking
from.
Sweet Medicine teaches at Deer Haven, a 40 acres facility,
these classes are based on the Seven Sacred Laws of indigenous
peoples; the blending of these laws in how we are to be living
with simplicity, and clarity these natural ways, is the
focus. Added to these classes will be taught leather
& bead work, primitive instruments, plant id and other
primitive skills techniques will be taught and honored.
Classes begin in the Sisters area on Sept 3rd from 6:00-9:00
PM. And run through Dec. this fall. Classes will
meet twice a month on Wed nights. Class fees:$50 a month
