Commute Options Week - June 16-22
More than ½ of all trips in Bend are not made to work, but to sports practices, grocery stores and shopping malls. Families can join commuters in giving gas the boot during Commute Options Week, June 16-22. Ride the bus for free on Monday, June 16. Bike to the store on Tuesday, and walk to the park on Wednesday. Arrange a carpool to soccer practice on Thursday, and round out the week by taking the bus again, to Friday Farmers Market at St. Charles Medical Center-Bend. Buy local produce and help end climate change.
