Energy Independence Campaign is an initiative to empower citizens and businesses of Central Oregon to begin the process of creating a model energy independent community.
Slowing global climate change and making the transition to a post fossil fuel economy is one of the greatest challenges humankind has ever faced. It is also one of our greatest opportunities. With electricity and gasoline prices climbing ever higher and with the problems caused by global warming growing larger, it is time to free ourselves from our fossil fuel dependency. It is time to become Energy Independent.
